A wonderful evening in Belgrade

Street musicians playing on the streets and at the outdoor seatings of every other restaturant, all filled with people of different ages. Much better than a saturday night in Stockholm - and this on a wednesday! :)

We went to a really nice restaurant on the street Skadarska (i the bohemian quarters). It was beautifully surrounded by large trees, giving a lovely shady atmosphere.

Four main courses with really delicious aromatic meat called cevapcici (a sort of minced meat sausages without any 'shell') and raznjici (luxuous beef kebab), with grilled potatoe bits. Also two sallads, two bottles of coke, one mineral water and four beers. All this for just 3700 serbian dinars (about 37 euro).

Perfect service all the time, wich started already outside the restaurant. The waitor welcomed us and continued to be polite, service minded, quick and efficient all the time. He offered us more beer just before our glasses were empty. We had a really great time, this first evening in Belgrade!
